In Italy thousands of villages risk disappearing. Leroy Merlin chose one of them, Calamecca, and together with one of the main generalist networks, created a television format to repopulate it. In the small village it summoned his best collaborators and craftsmen for a project never attempted before: bring people and work back to where they were not, bringing a village back to its former glory. A re-looking project that involved new residents and inhabitants, expressing the brand’s values in a concrete way such as proximity to local communities, collaboration and sharing of knowledge.
